About Me

ME AS A YOUNG CHAVVY
AT ST BERNADETTE'S
I was born and bred in Saaaaaf London, Clapham South to be exact.  Even though I left this part of London in 1988 it still to this day feels like home.  Having said that I could never live there again!
Clapham has now been rejuvenated and there are more bistros, bars, pubs and clubs that I can care to recall.  I can suggest the "Frog and Forget Me Not" pub as a good venue, especially for the weekly pub quizzes, and I will never forget playing Giant Jenga in the "Tea Rooms".  Having finished primary school my parents decided to up sticks and leave London and move 7 miles up the road to Croydon, so that travelling to secondary school would be that little bit easier.
For anyone who does not know Croydon or knows it and has never been there, I suggest going purely for the simple fact that at least you can say you have been there.....and left very quickly.  A night in Croydon is like a night in Kabul.  I don't think I can recall one single evening where I went to Croydon and did not witness a fight or argument.

CLAPHAM SOUTH...OBVIOUSLY!
I studied in 3 scholastic establishments in the Borough of Croydon, starting my secondary education at St Joseph's RC College on Beulah Hill, then moving onto Coulsdon College to complete my A-Levels, and then onto Croydon College of Art & Design where I completed my Art & Design HND.  As a child, and even now, I was a creative individual.   I loved making things out of Lego and enjoyed destroying my toys and taking them to bits, and equally enjoying putting them back together.  Due to my creativeness I decided at a young age that design was an area I wanted to dabble in.  After completing my Art & Design HND I went to South Bank University London, to study a BSc Degree in Industrial Design.  The 4 years spent at University have been amongst the best years of my life, where I met some of my best friends.
NICK DI PALMA...FLEET MANAGER!

You are probably thinking that I now work as a designer, well you would be wrong.  When I graduated, the design market was on a downwards slope in the UK, and being a person that really wanted to work as apposed to moping around the house as I had done for the last 23 years, I found myself working as a Sales Administrator at a local Vehicle Leasing Broker.  The rest, is quite literally history.  I slowly but surely worked my way up by becoming a Fleet Manager for one of the UK's largest care providers, where I managed 200 vehicles.  5 years after working there I was made redundant and moved to one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK, where I managed over 1000 vehicles.

I am currently living in leafy Surrey with my beautiful family.  For the past 6 years of my life I have also divulged myself into Martial Arts, but I will delve into this and other things IN more detail on other pages!!
